BDO Capital Advisors Announces the Partnership of SSAD with Century Capital

Boston, MA – March 11, 2013 – BDO Capital Advisors, LLC is pleased to announce the closing of a transaction between Social Security Advocates for the Disabled, LLC (“SSAD” or the “Company”) and Century Capital Partners. As the exclusive financial advisor to SSAD, BDO Capital prepared a confidential offering memorandum, identified and contacted a targeted group of potential buyers and assisted management in structuring and negotiating the transaction.

SSAD, based in Norwell, Massachusetts, is a leading third-party administrator of disability advocacy serves primarily focused on the long-term disability market. The Company was founded in 1994 by Vic Arruda and Ann Marie Beaudoin who have since led SSAD to its current well-established and respected position. The Company boasts a premier base of leading insurance customers with a nationwide footprint serving thousands of disabled individuals annually.

The investor, Century Capital Partners (“Century”), is the private equity arm of Boston-based investment manager Century Capital Management, LLC. Currently managing approximately $500 million, Century provides buyout capital and growth equity to lower middle market financial services, insurance and healthcare services companies. The capital provided by Century is typically used to fund organic growth initiatives, finance acquisitions and/or provide capital liquidity to shareholders through secondary equity purchases.
