BDO Capital Advisors Announces Promotions

Boston, MA – August 22, 2022 - BDO Capital Advisors, LLC (BDO Capital), trusted investment bankers for the middle market, recently announced the promotion of Eric Higgins to Managing Director, Jacob Cook to Vice President, Adnan Muminovic to Senior Associate, Carlos Medina Centanni to Associate, and Marcus Russell to Associate, effective August 1, 2022.  “These promotions support our strategy to align our talent and experience with our growing deal execution skills and industry-focused platform, as well as our newly-added ESOP service offering” said Bob Snape, President. “We are very excited to acknowledge Eric, Jacob, Adnan, Carlos and Marcus for the contributions they have made to our overall success while providing exceptional client service and outstanding results.”

Eric Higgins, Managing Director
Since joining BDO Capital in 2015 as a Senior Analyst, Eric has been on a remarkable growth trajectory and has performed at a phenomenal level having worked on many highly successful transactions across a variety of industries and geographies. Over the past several years, he has rapidly transitioned from an exceptional mid-level banker to earning a senior banker role while sourcing and executing his own deals. Eric serves as the Head of the West Region for BDO Capital and has specific experience in the healthcare, building products and consumer sectors and also has extensive cross-border deal experience.  From the beginning, he has been a reliable team player including his efforts with recruiting, training and developing junior staff. Well-liked and respected by both internal and external influencers and clients, Eric has proven himself to be one of the most effective overall bankers at BDO Capital during his tenure, having contributed to virtually every aspect of the group’s operations and success.

Prior to joining BDO Capital, Eric worked as an Analyst at Pan American Finance, a Miami-based boutique investment bank, where he performed industry and company research, prepared financial models and assisted with the preparation of marketing documents for multiple M&A, capital raising and debt restructuring transactions.

Jacob Cook, Vice President
Jacob joined the ESOP Advisory team in the fall of 2019. Over the past three years, Jake has been instrumental in the execution of numerous complicated transactions. He has gradually taken on more responsibilities and has been a catalyst in improving the operations and knowledge base of the group. From the beginning, Jacob has been a key resource in the development of the group’s internal processes which has improved efficiency at all levels.  Jacob has earned the trust of his team members and clients by playing a significant role in the projects that he participates in. 

Adnan Muminovic, Senior Associate
Adnan joined the ESOP Advisory team in the fall of 2021.  During his tenure Adnan has worked diligently to sharpen his skills and has become an important resource for the group.  Adnan has shown his strong commitment to the team by successfully navigating competing demands from the team and his clients on a daily basis.

Carlos Medina Centanni, Associate
Carlos joined BDO Capital as an Analyst in November 2020 and has worked on several noteworthy transactions during his tenure in a supporting role.  Carlos works efficiently and effectively and excels at multitasking in times of strained group capacity (due to a strong backlog), tirelessly meeting deadlines and keeping ahead of the curve. He is a dedicated team player with strong quantitative skills, is well-versed in the M&A execution process and has mastered client due diligence as well as offering material preparation.

Marcus Russell, Associate
Marcus joined BDO Capital full-time in May 2021 as an Analyst after a successful internship with the firm.  Since joining, Marcus has had an immediate impact and has made many meaningful positive contributions to BDO Capital.  Based on his outstanding performance and demonstrated capabilities, Marcus has quickly assumed an enhanced role with added responsibilities on both pitch and deal work. He is an extraordinarily hard worker and consistently produces high quality deliverables on time.
