Andy Bean

Andy is a Managing Director at BDO Capital Advisors and has 15 years of investment, mergers & acquisitions, and corporate finance experience. Andy advises privately-held and family-owned businesses on company sale processes and shareholder transitions, as well as other structures including leveraged recapitalizations, management buy-outs, corporate divestitures, capital raises, and buyside and strategic advisory assignments. Andy has executed over $2 billion worth of transactions across a range of sectors including Industrials, Manufacturing & Distribution, Consumer & Enterprise Technology, Energy & Environmental Services, and Business Services. Andy manages BDO Capital’s relationships and clientele west of the Mississippi River.

Andy began his career in investment banking at Harris Williams, where he advised middle-market clients in the Industrials space as well as companies serving the Energy, Power, and Infrastructure end markets.

Prior to BDO, Andy spent five years on the Corporate Development team at Apple, where he supported the company’s M&A, investing, and strategy efforts. While at Apple, Andy executed over 15 acquisitions involving targets in the United States, Canada, and Europe. Andy's previous experience also includes tenures at private equity firms TPG Capital in San Francisco and Platte River Equity in Denver where he executed leveraged buyout and growth equity investments.

Andy’s experience in both corporate finance and private equity provides his clients with a differentiated perspective into the practices of potential financial and strategic acquirers.
