BDO Capital Advises Matern Professional Engineering, Inc. on the sale to a newly formed ESOP

Atlanta, GA – January 12th, 2024 – BDO Capital Advisors, LLC (BDO Capital) is pleased to announce the sale of Matern Professional Engineering, Inc (MPE or the company) to an Employee Stock Ownership Plan.  BDO Capital served as exclusive financial advisor to MPE on this transaction, which demonstrates the firm’s experience advising entrepreneur-owned companies in the engineering industry. 

Founded in 1984 Matern Professional Engineering, Inc has provided professional engineering design and consulting services throughout Florida and the southern United States. With four offices throughout the state of Florida and over 60 full-time employees, MPE designs mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and technology systems that provide occupant comfort and safety. In addition to primary service offerings, MPE specializes in energy auditing, indoor air quality, and commissioning of new and existing systems.
